Find out what happened on the biggest night of the yearBy Matthew Priest
The fifth annual Man At His Best Awards 2015 took place at the Madinat Arena, Dubai on November 6, celebrating the outstanding achievements of men across the Middle East over the past year.
Hosted in spectacular fashion at Dubai’s Madinat Arena, a uniformly glamorous array of guests were welcomed to the ballroom with a special performance by Monte Carlo’s finest band The Goldsingers. An opening speech from Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Lawrence followed, before hosting duties were handed over to the brilliant (and hilarious) Egyptian-American comedian Ahmed Ahmed.
The 500-strong crowd of the region’s who’s who sat down to a lavish dinner, before the presentation of 13 awards ranging from Humanitarian of the Year (Dubai Cares) and Chef of the Year (Gary Rhodes), to International Man of the Year (Gary Barlow) and culminating in the recognition of Esquire’s Man of the Year, the truly inspirational Palestinian refugee-turned-author, Chaker Khazaal.
The night was a roaring success, and many thanks are due to our sponsors: Jaguar, Dunhill, Rivoli Prestige, S.T.Dupont, Si02 and Chivas Regal.
