Our supplier is one of the very last local producers of keffiyeh: a Swiss trained fabric engineer, he developed an artificial fibres based fabric, which delivers the perfect performance in the extreme desert conditions. This is why the keffiyeh is the only non-natural-fibre-based product across the SEP product range: because of its technical performance and the importance of local sourcing.

We know you want an alternative keffiyeh, made of natural fibers: we have developed the SEP Cotton Keffiyeh Line for you - stay tuned for new color styles every year!We highly recommend to wash keffiyeh in a mesh laundry bag or a pillow case to prevent damage during the machine wash cycle. However, if you want to make 100% sure your pompoms will be protected, then hand-washing is the safest option!

Similar to the washing process for our keffiyeh, hand-washing your cashmere will guarantee the safest result and healthy refreshment for the fibres. The ideal method is to soak the product in lukewarm water(30c) with specially formulated shampoo or any gentle detergents that are designed for cashmere fibres.

The SEP Cashmere is adorned by precious embroidery artwork made with high quality twisted DMC 100% cotton thread which has a satiny and silky texture. Our technique ensures that the embroidery is long-lasting and sturdy. With a few simple care steps, your SEP piece will last a lifetime!

Linen: the most sustainable natural fibre, completely recyclable, biodegradable and zero-waste. Made in Italy and hand-embroidered with great care, accuracy, patience for you in Jerash, Jordan. SEP's linen shawl, seen as a chic staple that can carry you through from day to night in ultimate style.Stone washed linen has a unique shabby chic feel with soft texture and light crumples: it feels great even without ironing. Wash your linen shawl in lukewarm water with or without fabric softener, and most importantly avoid detergents that contain bleaching agents for coloured linen as it can result a discolouration or spotting.
