SEP Brand Ambassadors represent our brand on a voluntary basis, they are all SEP customers. They are curious about the world, connected to society and passionate about style. This is the ‘fil rouge’, the connector, which unites our artisans with our customers. A love of style and fashion, a connection to trends and an inquisitive interest in all parts of the world.
It is a club in which only those who appreciate the finest things in life can belong: finest in production, finest in availability. The time it takes to make a piece means they are all unique labors of love, hence never mass-market.
SEP is proud to welcome Johanna Maggy Hauksdottir as a new SEP Ambassador!
Johanna Maggy feels the positive energy that the SEP Artists' generate with their embroidery work. No words are needed, when you look at the embroidery and feel it with your hand. We are deeply touched by her trust and support! "After my time in Africa, I was introduced to Pilates. I fell in love with it fast and a few months later I was living in New York City studying the original Pilates method by Romana’s Pilates. When I graduated I was offered a job in one of their Manhattan studios where I worked for over 8 years with a large group of clients. Because I built such deep relationships with all of them I felt the need to further educate myself in order to assist them with their health and overall well-being. I heard about people who had attended The Ann Wigemore Institute in Puerto Rico to heal themselves from many serious illnesses such as Cancer. I decided to take a course there and it was one of the best things I have ever given to myself. My relationship with food was now changed forever and had opened a new door in my field of work. My next target was the IIN – Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I graduated as a certified holistic health coach.
By that time I was pregnant with my first son and a year later my second. That experience left me in awe of us women, just how powerful we really are. Going through all the beauty and pain of motherhood from beginning to end. I started to dig deeper into women, mothers’ and babies health and nutrition. This is where I stand today – still searching for more wisdom, beauty and little simple secrets that Mother Nature gave us to make everyday life better.
SEP is proud to welcome Helen Al Uzaizi as a new SEP Ambassador!

SEP is proud to present new Brand Ambassador Mary Nazzal-Batayneh and its partnership with Landmark Hotels.
Mary Nazzal-Batayneh is a barrister, human rights activist, mother and founder of Landmark Hotels.
Mary featured again this year on the Forbes Middle East top 200 Most Powerful Arab Women list. Young Global Leaders are chosen based on their commitment of their time and talent towards making the world a better place.
Mary encompasses everything that the SEP brand stands for: ethical business and a commitment to economic empowerment for refugee communities.
We are delighted that Mary accepted to associate her name to our brand: as a proud customer of SEP she will be telling our story and showing our work worldwide, pro-bono. We are looking forward to developing new collections inspired by her and reaching out to more customers world-wide with our unique hand-embroidered accessories.
Landmark Hotels will house a selection of our precious work for guests to enjoy. Selected rooms will feature the distinct artistic work of the women behind SEP. We are very excited for SEP to be given this opportunity to showcase our work.
